Empty 'Full'

Empty talks perhaps hold the deepest repressions. Two women meet across a dripping clothesline , at a  pre-destined hour between a lunch that others eat and a space before empty cups column the sink. One holds a half sleeved shirt and wrings it like she would want to a human neck. The other fairly fair for the race, hangs the clothesline in such order that defies the chaos within.
They see company to eke out a despair. But neither shares unspoken despair between a dripping clothesline.
Instead one says," He never understands, the  tea dust just seems to vanish into distaste".
The other replies," Children don't like watery milk"
Twenty years later, they meet again, one  a widow, the other a divorcee.
They meet across the clothesline. Despair expects to be shared for sure.
Instead  one says," He always liked to wear a starched shirt"
The other replies," Tea Dust nowadays is mixed with lead"
And they walk back, repressions hanging from an empty clothesline.
