Sometimes the municipal van
drives in dirty
And drives away dirtier
Carries away plastic memories too
A plump, dark skinned woman hanging dead
In an unloved house,
The burnt cinders of parents
stacked in old age homes
Adopted children cloned to adapt
Galvanized sentiments
And maternal uncle's lost genes
All in a muddy pan
And there memory junk drives away
Spotless clean
cleansed.
