I saw in you a person of individuality

Through a crisis

I see you sway in your opinion

I noticed first the silence, then the evasive dialogue

Then through an indifference at an event where you needed me to seek a wish,

I just knew you had stopped listening g to what your heart and mind told you about me.

And perhaps with that realisation I also stopped ticking within in a way I did ever since we met.

A red car that sped by, for a second I wondered if it was you. Then felt you wouldn’t stoop to so cheap a level

The irony of unquestioned faith.

You understood and yet you chose to trample it all under the foot of indifference.

I do not know if you had managed to mock away with those who bitten by a green eyed monster learnt to see in it an opportunity to taunt.

I have written them away for life, You I could not, perhaps it will take time to do with one I trusted without doubt.

I reached out to you, you pushed me away, I can never return.
