If you really stop chatter, Listen
And you finally hear
raindrops before they fall
The unsung beside the sung
The unheard after the heard
unspoken thought,unspelt word
Unmade footsteps, the unknown path
Unshed tear beside seeming smile
unsent messages, misplaced calls
An uncast shadow
The unwritten word
of
An unlived life
lost
in unmarked decibel
The sounds of silence
beside spent noise.
Nice to read though not very thematic. A poem like the writer quiet and yet not quiet.
ReplyDeleteSandeep, Thank you for the comment. Is not quietness a relative term?
