Dumpty Humpty

It is always easy to break.
Have you ever noticed it is always easy to make a rag of a doll, pieces of a nice toy?
As kids the ease of it stood beside that laughable effort to put the pieces back again and then we watched with dismay that now it was no more a doll but a rag doll.
Now then the adult world is bigger, big ideas, we learn to break things bigger than a rag doll, we learn to break hearts, we learn to mess heads, we learn to break people and then we watch with a strange feeling that now it is no more a life but a fragmented self.
If we had the ability to recreate the life we take from another perhaps then it would really be a laughable adult world's game worth playing perhaps.
But when we know we can't, isn't it better to leave a life intact?
The fun of our moments could be another lifetime's pain.
They teach us early on ..Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, / Humpty Dumpty had a great fall; / All the king's horses and all the king's men / Couldn't put Humpty together again...
And yet we learn the art of breaking people in a way they can never be the same again.
