She asked me if it could be finally the stranger behind the bells , the lights and the horses.
I considered the possibility but then decided it impossible.
He and I had met enough to know it was not him. And in fact he was good friendly stranger who sensed we shared a nameless bond instinctively as if we knew for a lifetime.
He hardly noticed woman hood in me.
He recognised the glutton in me and so inched dishes across.
He had an uncanny way of sensing my mind and my ways.
It definitely was not him. He did attempt to help me solve the riddle of the bells, the lights and the horses. But then I guess he found the venture silly and futile so he gave it up.
He felt sorry for my head I guess for he mistook my query for a quest for man and advised me to settle down with a good chosen one. He failed to understand
He said he respected my thoughts (bells, lights n horses) but I guess he just knew it was all improbable.
I guess I must push the bells, the lights and the horses run just inside my head henceforth.
