Puzzle

After I had almost given up, I met your kindness.

A kindness that took me back to the one only a dead soul held for me.

An unconditional giving without any material reason.

Perhaps what to you was a natural gesture meant a healing for me.

In your kindness I let go of a pain I just managed to survive through.

You never asked me why I came so far yet I knew you saw through it all.

 When I finally express my trust in you, when we almost just begin recognizing  a nameless bond, something just goes awry.

I find it hard to let it heal within when the letdown comes so subtle from you.

It puzzles me what made you do so.

I still listen to what the heart says…perhaps you left in a hurry….yet the head disagrees…. I choose to listen to the former…else I may not survive it all.

Destiny had a good laugh, I presume.
