In a formal socially ordained hour

Do you think you can understand me

The misplaced eyes, the uneven teeth

The holes in the head,

Blackheads, whiteheads hidden alike

with white lies, black truths

dress our best, groomed the best

The best beings at the moment
What do we know

that kink in my head, the knot in your heart

of the worst in us
