Not sure, Doubts prevail
Against a wall of distrust
Either sides still
They lean over and argue
"...You loved me less
I loved you more or less
You never loved me..."
The vacuum of hearts
They are not sure
They cant see eye to eye
No longer, not anymore
Well, that's love today
He says with a sigh
She counts the years,
'When did infidelity begin'
'Yesterday', he replies
"No', she says 'at two noon the thirteenth may'
'I don't remember dates', he sighs again,
'I never loved you anyway, you were',
He pauses to see if she can withstand
'You were just one among many'
They count and measure
Love unmeasurable
They build walls around
A rare treasure
Not knowing a common wall
Waits for trust to break through.
