Not a sentiment.
You cannot expect it
From children born of
Your own will and pleasure.
It’s a virtue, expected
Of the secretary to the boss,
The client to the lawyer
The dog to the master
Where love’s of the secretary n the dog
And gratitude’s of the wife and the child.
